Rookery Bay Reserve...

Kayaking from Isle of Capri Paddlecraft Park

Isle of Capri Paddlecraft Park at Marco Island is a great launch site developed specifically for kayak, canoes, and paddleboards. This provides access to McIlvane Bay, surrounded by mangrove with many bird and wildlife viewing opportunities. Small fee charged. (Detailed map and photos below.)

Isle of Capri Paddlecraft Park provides an easy launch designed specifically for paddle craft (kayaks, canoes, paddleboards). Scenic with mangrove along McIlvane Bay.

Isle of Capri/Rookery Bay National Estuarine Reserve

We launched from the Isle of Capri Paddle Craft Park at Marco Island and paddled the lower portion of the Reserve around Isle of Capri and the lower bays at the Reserve.

Isle of Capri Paddlecraft Park

Located on Capri Blvd. off route 951. Parking, restrooms and picnic tables. There's even a freshwater rinsing station to wash off your paddle craft.
